What shapes the final price

Why repair prices vary.

A repair only lasts if the cause is fixed too. These are the things we look at on site before we put any number in writing.

  • What caused the damage. Water, settlement, rusting steel, or old hard mortar each call for a different fix.
  • How far it runs. A few brick versus a whole section of wall.
  • Height and access. Work above the first floor needs ladders or staging.
  • Matching materials. Finding brick, stone, and mortar that blend with the original.
  • Structural parts. Lintels, ties, and supports add steps to the job.
  • Age of the masonry. Older homes need softer mortar and a gentler approach.
